Why a Run Coach??

Surrounding yourself with the advice and support of a coach could change your performance dramatically! Run Coaches are not just for fast runners or runners hoping to become faster! We aid in training for all types of goals from weight loss, improving your 5k, or helping you to your first marathon finish line!

.

What does a running coach do?

.

A run coach helps you define and meet your goals. We help you stay consistent and motivated with workouts customized to your ability and goals! Without a plan, you might find yourself hitting a plateau. Coaches will help you build a course of action toward your goals whatever they may be. Whether you are training to lose weight, run your first 5k, or going for a marathon personal record, a coach breaks down your training into structured chunks to measure progress and keep you on target.

.

A run coach takes the guess work out of your running. You will not get stuck in the same boring routine of running 5 miles 4 times a week at the same pace. We mix in hills, intervals, tempos, long runs, and more to ensure that you have a well-rounded plan specific to your goals. A coach encourages you to try new things and break out of your comfort zone so you can improve!

.

There are so many free plans, why not just use one of those?

.

A one-size-fits-all approach may work for some runners, but not for the vast majority. If you want to get the most out of your training, you need to take a comprehensive approach. This consists of targeting areas of fitness you may not normally pay attention to such as flexibility, balance, mobility, and strength. Investing in a personal running coach is the best option to ensure that you’re emphasizing these areas of your training properly. A personal running coach will look at your running history, future goals, and your training availability to build a plan to help you achieve your goals in the most safe and effective way!
