Why did you choose to work with Pace Right Coaching?
 .
It was really destiny – I was considering hiring a running coach and was looking for a local person to meet with me once a week, but couldn’t find anyone that I really felt was a good fit. Then I posted a transformation picture on Instagram and it was liked by Pace Right Coaching. I’m a big believer in signs and after looking at the website and seeing how I could get a plan customized for my goals, I knew it was the right choice for me.

What do you like about online coaching?
 .
Even though I initially wanted to have a coach I could meet with once a week, it was not realistic for my life – I have a full-time job, a part-time job, volunteer regularly with a dog rescue organization, have three dogs of my own, a husband an
d a regular workout schedule. Having an online coach make a plan for me that I can plug into my calendar is the absolute best fit for my life.

What are your training goals? What are you training for?
 .
My biggest training goal right now is to increase my pace. I am training for a Half Marathon and would like my pace to be 15:00.

What has Pace Right Coaching helped you to achieve?
 .
Pace Right has helped me understand the importance of speed and distance work as well as supplementary exercises to get the best performance out of my body.

Do you recommend Pace Right Online Coaching? Why or why not?
 .
Absolutely! Coach Amanda keeps her athletes engaged with weekly challenges, she’s a runner herself and shares her goals, struggles, accomplishments, supplementary workouts and even her nutrition.
 .
What is something people may be surprised to find out about you?
 .
I didn’t start working out regularly until I was 41 years old. I visited gyms and went for walks on occasion, but I was never an active person until 2 years ago.
 .
What is your favorite exercise? Least favorite?
 .
My very favorite exercise is indoor cycling. It was my first fitness love and the one thing I’ve never gotten tired of. My least favorite exercise is warming up in group classes. They usually involve jumping jacks which I really don’t care for.

What has been your proudest moment working with Pace Right Coaching?
 .
I have a new proudest moment everyday. I am, historically, a fitness quitter so everyday that I get up and lace up my shoes is my new proudest moment.

What is your spirit animal? Why?
.
My spirit animal is the turtle because it is a symbol of walking your own path in peace and sticking to it with determination and serenity. Turtles are slow on land but fast in the water which I think is a good comparison to my life – sometimes I like to have a fast-paced life, but other times I like to stop and enjoy every little thing.

I really enjoy the Pace Right Coaching community and learning about everyone else’s training goals and accomplishments.
